Alibaba claims that its new system can detect corona virus from patients’ chest scans with 96% accuracy. Artificial intelligence takes only 20 seconds to detect the virus. Normally, it takes about 20 minutes for doctors to diagnose the disease in people, as they evaluate more than 300 images. Alibaba’s system was trained based on images and data from 5,000 Corona virus cases, tested in hospitals in China. According to information, currently artificial intelligence of Alibaba is used in at least 100 health facilities. The only system that can detect the Corona virus is not the artificial intelligence of Alibaba. Ping An, a healthcare provider, announced a similar system. Geoff Kau, vice president of the company’s Smart City division, announced that their systems can produce intelligent analysis results in about 15 seconds with an accuracy of over 90%. Corona virus cases are growing worrying worldwide. These kinds of artificial intelligence solutions can ease the burden of doctors who have a hard time.
