YouTuber Tyler Oliveira said last week “Can 1,000,000 Paper Towels Absorb the Swimming Pool?” Since then, the video has received over 160,000 views. YouTuber, however, also received reactions from the audience because he tried to suck the water out of a swimming pool with a paper towel. In her video, Oliveira tried to find the answer to how many paper towels she could draw from the swimming pool. YouTuber says he got the idea to make such a video from a viral TikTok video of a similar concept. Oliveira TikTok also pours a glass of water into the pool and tries to clean it with a paper towel. In the YouTube video, Oliveira cannot complete the task and says that paper towels are not enough to pull the pool. He then calculates that with some mathematics he needs 3,625,000 paper towels to draw the entire pool. The audience’s response to the video was not delayed. Users critically referred to Greta Thunberg, World War II and forest fires in Australia. Oliveira, commenting that people are fighting for water in Australia, “the video may have missed many of you using paper towels. Maybe you may be right. But I want you to think of one thing. These paper towels, whether I use them or not.” replied. Here’s a video where YouTuber tries to suck the pool with paper towels:
